That's a really good question.

Here's a link to a podcast episode where Dahlia and RBG are in conversation:

This is Lithwick in Slate writing about how Ginsburg shouldn't be pushed to retire:

Thank you for the links. I would have to respectfully disagree with Lithwick on her faulty reasonings in the article on why Ginsburg shouldn't be pushed to retire. The strangest among them was to accuse the people with logical points as believing "Ginsburg is either secretly dying or is determinedly unaware of the political world she inhabits." Or that any of the calls to retire were based on the perception that Ginsburg's judgment was failing other than her obvious blindness to the danger everyone was trying to avert. Also, RBG's blindness is very much on display in the biopic "RBG." That blindness was caused by her infatuation with her own celebrity. I know it's hard to be objective about someone we admire, but her entire legacy was on the line ... and I still cannot believe the depth of her selfishness.

What is Lithwick's opinion on what led Ginsberg to the destruction of her own legacy and, as a result, putting us in the position we face today? Was it megalomania like I suspect? Ginsberg had to have known as I am certain many people had to have pleaded with her. Defied all logic - I will never forgive her.
