Exactly. "Originalism" is not conservatism, esp. not in the hands--the zealous minds--of those who, like Scalia, Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch, believe (a) that they know better than all the rest of us, functioning eagerly as a permanent Politbureau, and (b) that their world would disappear were they not standing athwart the gender-bending forces (and other democratizing tendencies) that threaten it.
